Designed with sustainability in mind, the factory uses solar energy to power its entire production process, including the in-house casting facility, making these lathes a truly green choice.
Every Fanuc controlled Superturn lathe includes Turnmate i touchscreen software. With intuitive touch cycles and conversational programming, it’s one of the most user-friendly CNC control systems on the market today—perfect for both seasoned machinists and new operators.

For one-off and small batch production, the AJAX Superturn can be conversationally programmed using intuitive electronic turning cycles. This makes setup fast and convenient, with no CNC programming experience required.
For complex geometries or batch production, the Fanuc 0i TF Plus Turnmate i control supports full ISO G-code programming, offering the flexibility and precision needed for advanced machining tasks.
Other control options available include:
- Fagor 8058 Elite with conversational programming,
- Siemens 828D with ShopTurn interface.

Manual Feel, CNC Control
Operate the machine manually using electronic handwheels, while the intuitive Fanuc touchscreen interface functions as a digital readout (DRO). This hybrid setup allows operators to use the lathe manually, with the added benefit of digital precision.
Electronic Cycles – No CNC Experience Required
The Superturn enables users to program tapers, radii, grooves, screw threads, and multi-point profiles through simple prompts on the Fanuc display. These electronic turning cycles are easy to use and don’t require CNC programming knowledge. Cycles can be linked together to create full electronic programs.
