Ajax Vertical Turret Milling Machines

The Ajax range of vertical turret milling machines continues the tradition of quality and versatility, making them ideal for schools, technical colleges, and engineering workshops. Designed to meet both maintenance and production requirements, these machines are built for durability and ease of use.

All models are supplied with a fully interlocked swing-away guard for enhanced operator safety.

  • AJT200S & AJT300S feature universally tilting heads, capable of tilting 90° left and right, as well as front to back—ideal for complex angular machining.
  • AJT400S & AJT500S offer left and right tilting only, providing robust performance for standard turret milling applications.

These machines are ergonomically designed, incorporating the latest engineering techniques and built to the highest standards of quality and precision. Key features include exceptional reliability, accuracy, and rigidity, making them ideal for demanding applications.

All models in the range are equipped with infinitely variable spindle speeds, allowing operators to efficiently machine a wider variety of modern and sophisticated materials with greater control and flexibility.

The first machine built in this style was the Bridgeport BR2J2 turret mill and thus the turret mill was born. Many versions followed and the original design was improved as with our machines.
